Lincoln FC Coaching selection process.

Apply for a Lincoln FC coaching position for an open age group in on LincolnFC.org
Applications will be reviewed by the Competitive DOC & Committee. Applicants then will be reviewed by the Board.
Coaches must be in good standing with the club. Applicants with a record of previous red cards or disciplinary applications may not be eligible for consideration.
The DOC will present the names to the Board for voting
The Board will have to approve all coaches by a vote of fifty-one percent (51%) or greater of the Board of
Directors
Coaches must be working on a US Soccer Grass Roots License. 1 online class and two in person classes.
All competitive coaches are required to attend a referee training class within their first two (2) years as Head Coach
but obtaining a referee’s license through USSF is not required.

Second Course: 4 v 4 online (Free)

In Person Courses: These courses are held throughout the year. The courses are two hours in a classroom setting and 2 hours on the field. 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 in person courses are recommended.

Competitive Fee Summary

Below is a typical cost breakdown to play on a competitive team within our club. We do our best to keep costs low, while teams can take advantage of sponsorship and other fundraising opportunities to help lower team/individual costs.

Club Registration Fee - $325 per player
- Player pass
- Fields costs
- Field lights
- City of Lincoln player fee (Fall and Spring)
- Fall, Winter, Spring, and State Cup referee fees

Training Kits: $92 +tax per player (Purchase through Club Retailer)
- Training Kits include:
- 2 Training jerseys (Blue and Black)
- Black Training Shorts
- Black Training Socks

Game Kits - $144 + tax (Purchase through Club Retailer) (Varies by team, as some items are optional.) per player
- Standard game kit includes:
- Blue Game Jersey
- White Game Jersey
- Blue Game Shorts
- Black Game Shorts
- Blue Game Socks
- White Game Socks

Team Fees - Varies by team ($300 - $600 per player)
- Determined by individual team budget
- All teams play Fall league, and some choose to play Spring league
- Depends on number of tournaments, usually at least 3-4
- State Cup is optional, but most teams do participate

Monthly Club Fees - $0
- Lincoln FC does not charge monthly fees. Many other clubs in the area charge a monthly fee.

Fundraising & Team Sponsorships:
- Each team can do fundraising to offset team fees.
- Each team can find local team sponsors

***GOALKEEPER PACKAGE***

This will only be for goalkeepers and not field players. There is a goalkeeper package that only includes the training kits and a goal keeper game kit. This will not include the Blue and White game kits.

2023-2024 Season Overview

The Competitive Season runs for two seasons. Fall and Spring. Teams practice 2-3 times a week.
Fall Season runs August through December.
Spring Season runs March through May.

Club Registration Fee : $300. The fee covers the following items

- Field lights
- City of Lincoln player fee (Fall and Spring)
- Fall, Spring, and State Cup referee fees

All players must order the following mandatory items:

- Question: Are the games local?
  - Answer: League games are played in Norther California. Some league games may require travel up to 2.5 hours.
- Question: Are there overnight stays?
  - Answer: Yes, some teams travel to to tournaments or games that require overnight stay. Lincoln FC teams have traveled to Nevada, Oregon, and Southern California.
